a busy week

Lots to blog about... going to see how I do with keeping it short and simple. Prediction: I don't think I'll do too well.

Monday: Britney with LiAnne. Houston. We ate at a Steakhouse, Vic and Anthony's, a few blocks away from the Toyota Center, and stuffed ourselves with deliciousness: oysters, crab cakes, quail and the best dessert I have ever had... croissant bread pudding with caramel ice cream. Yes, read over again. Croissant bread pudding. With caramel ice cream. It was so good. So. Good. Ummm, it was all good until we were walking to the concert and LAnne started vomiting. Over and over again. She was okay during the concert, but then we both got sick on the way home. It was miserable. I still was sick the next day... oh, it was so awful. THEN Addison's school called me on Wednesday morning asking me to pick her up because she was vomiting. Anyway- we are all better now. And here are some pictures of Britney (who was so fun, and pretty and yes, she lip synchs, but we had 5th row seats and it was awesome, so whatever).

Friday afternoon we joined Addison's cousins for Easter Egg Dying. This was very fun- all of the kids were excited and it was so very cute.

She did a very good job! Kept it clean and was super careful!

Saturday Mike took a 4.5 hour math certification test and I spent all day in Buda at a dance competition. Our girls did awesome, which is becoming habit :) They consistently make me super proud. Even though my job requires me to be away from home frequently, I wouldn't trade it for any other job. I love my studio, my staff and my students. I am very blessed. No pictures, because I don't have parent's permission... but of course all of the dancers were beautiful.

Today Mike and I went to the orange and white jamboree- the Longhorn's first game- their offense vs. their defense. This was really fun, we appreciated a day out in the beautiful Austin weather. After the scrimmage we walked around campus before heading home... a perfect afternoon.

And to sign off, a lovely tantrum courtesy of Angel Addison:
